10 100 150
11 80 100
12 60 80

In 1868, Bruno Naumann bought a license and opened in Dresden a workshop for the production of sewing machines Wheeler & Wilson. Soon he began to receive a large number of orders. By then, the market was run by US patents.
In 1869, the merchant Siedel invested 25,000 talers to develop Bruno's new ideas and expand production. So the company Siedel & Naumann was born. Although in 1876 Siedel withdrew its capital, the company's name remained the same.
Even more succeeded Naumann when the first in Germany began to produce machines of the Singer system and improve the design.
In 1883 Naumann acquired a large territory on the Hamburg st. and built a large factory, which is used to this day.
In 1898, 2500 workers were employed in production and 80,000 sewing machines were produced per year. By 1906, the output increased to 100,000 sewing machines per year.
In the 1900's the company began to produce typewriters, which became the main product.
